The installer adds and adjusts the ATAG while preparing the quote. The homeowner then receives the options under the installer’s name, with equal presentation.

I recommend one matched ATAG by default. The two switches change that option. An installer can deliberately add another ATAG, up to three boiler options in total. The customer does not have to approve an option before the installer includes it. On a quote that already has an ATAG, the upgrade goes on as a second option beside the current one, so the customer sees a choice.
The competitor example uses the £1,230 Worcester Greenstar 4000 30 and £1,170 Economiser 27 from Kev’s proposed October prices, excluding VAT. The illustrative Worcester fitted quote is £3,414 including VAT. Replacing only the boiler cost gives £3,342 for the Economiser, retaining the installer’s existing margin in pounds and all other costs. This is a demonstration of the arithmetic, not an approved package match.
Every price the installer sees on these screens includes VAT. The 18-year upgrade costs £171 before VAT, £205.20 including VAT; the Economiser uplift is £180 before VAT (£216) on the 27 and 35, and £120 (£144) on the 39. On the competitor route no mark-up is added, so the switches show £205.20 and £216. On the existing-ATAG route £50 including VAT is added as the installer’s mark-up by default and can be edited: £255.20 for the 18-year warranty, £266 for the Economiser 27 or 35, £194 for the Economiser 39.
Stuart’s model mapping supplies the equivalent and the hot-water figures at the same temperature rise. The offer also works after Straight to quote, with no survey. A higher-spec default is used only if the approved match and current job price support it. The sample Worcester has the installer’s 10-year boiler guarantee; the actual guarantee must follow the installer’s selected package. Heat-exchanger labour cover must not be inferred from a parts guarantee.
Kev, Stuart and Haseeb own which supplied components replace the installer’s selections and whether the full order switches at launch or later. The mock-up changes the boiler cost only. The live quote must itemise the resulting package, remove duplicate included items, and recalculate before presenting a comparison.
The fee is £30 plus VAT on a job won without an ATAG option. Every screen calls it the £30 win fee, dropped when ATAG is added and applied when it is not; VAT is mentioned once, on the first panel. Adding any ATAG drops the fee whichever boiler the customer chooses. Removing the last ATAG applies the fee again, with an immediate Undo. Removing one of two ATAG options leaves no win fee. The homeowner never sees installer margin or OPERA fees.
The Economiser saving is ATAG’s supplied figure: up to £68 a year, based on 325 litres of hot water a day at 7.97p/kWh. It appears only for Economiser options. Bonus Boiler wording here is for launch from 1 October; trial screens before then say “From 1 October”.
